Hello GBSA!
We hope the swimmers had a great first week at practice! Here are a few announcements:
There will be a virtual meeting for parents on Tuesday, September 19 at 7 pm on Google Meet. Please join us to learn about practice expectations, how to enter your swimmer in a meet, reading meet notices, and more! If you have any questions that you would like to be addressed at the meeting, email them ahead of time to regist...@gmail.com so we can make sure to cover those topics. If you cannot attend, we will post the information on the website after the meeting.

We are working on getting the new website connected to gbsaswim.org and updating the bulletin board at the pool. For now, please go to https://gbsa.swimtopia.com/ for the most up to date information. There is also a calendar you can subscribe to so you can stay on top of events, meet entry deadlines, and swim meets!
The registration process is off to a great start! We have a few clarifications:
Please do not register your swimmer(s) more than once on Swimtopia - if you need to make any changes (parent info, training group, payment frequency, etc.), please email the Registration Coordinators at regist...@gmail.com
The online registration for GBSA and USA Swimming must be completed before you attend a Registration Event
Only one parent/guardian needs to attend one in-person Registration Event - you don’t have to bring your swimmer (unless of course they have practice that day or would like to come say hi!)
Families starting in the second quarter will still need to attend a Registration Event
We do not keep a copy of the birth certificate or passport - we only look at them to verify the date of birth entered in USA Swimming is correct
