Saturday or Sunday 6/6-7 practice:
Since time trials are not tomorrow here is a practice that I strongly encourage all BLS and BLJ to do, but especially those who missed today (Friday 6/5). Parents - and swimmers - please keep in mind that when a swimmer trains Thursday evening and then does not do so again until Monday evening that is 4 whole days out of the water. There is a lot lost in 3-4 days with no swimming. Here goes:
500 choice mix kdsdk x25
5x100 75 free swim and build 25 choice kick 90% 10 seconds rest
10x50 odds choice evens prime; fast walls:55/1:00/1:05
20x25 sets of 4: 1+5 fly kick set, 2+5 choice variables, 3 catch up and overkick free

5x150 odds free breath 357 x50 evens babrfr build 50s race turns 2:40/2:55
4x225 200 free (100 breath 3537 x25, 100 build) 5 seconds rest 25 prime race swim
