There were some incorrect SCY times in the previous TM file. All of the times in OME are correct. Please see corrected TM file attached. I fixed the SCY times for events 7-10, 33-34, 53-56. Sorry about that. Please let me know if you see any other issues.

Good morning! We hope that you will be joining us in May for what might be a beautiful, warm, and sunny weekend at the Abby Seeger Memorial swim meet. New this year, we are using OME for entries. The OME for Abby Seeger will open today at 5pm.

OME collects all entries through the USA Swimming website. OME will enforce proof of times and proof of USAS membership. We have attached the instructions for submitting entries using OME. Once you submit your entries in OME, please send me an email to let me know you have done so. I will acknowledge receipt of the entries within 48 hours. This is important to establish priority in case the meet fills up. If you have any issues submitting your entries, please reach out by email. I’ll check my email every evening and reply within 24 hours.
Entry fees will not be collected in OME. We will be collecting paper checks payable to UMBC as usual. I will provide entry reports from Meet Manager showing your entries and amounts due.
Even though entries will be submitted using OME, I have also attached the traditional TM events file for your reference. Please do not submit your entries via TM export, though, as those entries cannot be imported into OME. This is our second meet to use OME. We would like your feedback regarding OME, both good and bad. We understand this changes your entry process, but we have found it less error prone than the old system with fewer exceptions to deal with.
To help our team plan for hospitality, please indicate the average number of coaches per session you expect to bring using the “Cost Per Meal Ticket” entry form. (The cost is zero of course!) This selection is on the last page of OME where you submit your entries.

Some OME tips:
1. You must already be logged in to USA Swimming for the meet entry link to work. Otherwise, you will see a 404 error.
2. OME has a feature similar to TeamUnify that allows athletes’ families to enter themselves into the meet through OME if you prefer. With this feature, the coaches see the entries and approve them. See page 4 of the attached instructions.
3. If an athlete is not qualified for a particular event, you will see “NT” for that event. This doesn’t mean they don’t have a time in the event, just that they don’t have a qualifying time. Bonus entries are submitted from a different page.
4. Even though times come directly from SWIMS, entry times do not automatically update in OME if you have already started your entries and then your swimmers get faster. If your swimmers have swum faster since you started or submitted their entries, you must tell OME to pull the new times. This must be done before the entry deadline passes.
5. Once you submit your entries, they are locked in and cannot be changed in OME, even if the entry deadline hasn’t passed.
