Is that good enough? Because I don't have a chance to watch 3 movies tomorrow and we are all going to see No Way Home tomorrow so is my Spider-man knowledge well enough to be up to date to watch No Way Home? If it isn't I can always say I'm not going to my brother... I don't want to but what's your guys' opinion?

While the establishment of the multiverse has a still yet-to-be-determined impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in the present it can make watching Spider-Man movies in order a little complicated.

I realize, after watching this Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer, that it's been way too long since we've had a good dose of Andrew Garfield. When I watch him as Spider-man, I'm basically just twiddling my thumbs through the scenes where he's in costume (uniform? didn't mean to emasculate superheroes at large there) so that we can get back to him being in either a t-shirt or a pea coat. His real superpower is owning those looks like nobody's biz.

This month, Netflix has welcomed The Amazing Spider-Man 2 back to its lineup, and it has quickly become one of the most popular movies on Netflix. That makes this the perfect opportunity to tell you why you should watch The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on Netflix.

The new documentary, The Devil on Trial, has quickly become one of the most popular movies on Netflix because it revisits not only the trial of Johnson but also the events leading up to it including the apparent possession of a young boy, David Glatzel. It also offers a first-hand account of both incidents in a way that cuts through the Hollywood dramatizations and offers viewers conflicting perspectives on what really happened and why. If you want the full account, then these are three reasons you should watch The Devil on Trial on Netflix.
The survivors share their stories in their own words

Upon getting back into Oscorp, Harry finds the venom from the now-destroyed genetically altered spiders. However, after he forces Menken to inject him with the venom, it accelerates his illness and turns him into a goblin-like creature, but the built-in emergency protocol in an armored suit restores his health. Meanwhile, Peter finds his father's secret lab in an abandoned subway station and learns that he had to flee because he refused to cooperate with Norman's plans to make biogenetic weapons with his research. He also discovers that his father used his own DNA when he made the spiders, so Oscorp cannot recreate them without his blood. After leaving the lab, Peter then discovers that Gwen was offered the Oxford scholarship. He professes his love for her, and they agree to go to England together.

Five months later, Harry is coping with the aftereffects of his transformation while being imprisoned at Ravencroft. His associate, Gustav Fiers, visits him and the pair discusses forming their own team. Harry orders Fiers to start with Sytsevich, whom he helped escape from prison. Equipped with an electromechanical suit of armor, Sytsevich dubs himself the "Rhino" and rampages through the streets. Peter, re-inspired after watching Gwen's graduation speech, returns to confront him as Spider-Man.

In 2002, Spider-Man finally came to the big screen after years of false starts and development hell. The Sam Raimi directed trilogy featured Tobey Maguire in the title role. The trilogy dominated the box office, making Spider-Man one of the first big comic book movie franchises of the 21st century. If you want to watch the Raimi/Maguire Spider-Man trilogy, here is the chronological order.

Whilst introducing the concept of parallel Spider-Verses, watching the film in order is a simple affair - as long as you can keep up with the changing art styles and multiple iterations of Spider-Man and Spider-Woman.

The Academy Award-winning family flick tells a charming coming-of-age story built around High School student and spider bite victim Miles Morales, who teams up with heroes from alternate universes to halt a sinister plan by the Kingpin.

The inclusion of prior Spider-Man characters in Spider-Man: No Way Home makes the question of what to skip and what to re-watch harder. That's on top of the fact that director Jon Watts' third installment in the Homecoming trilogy is just a small part of the 20-plus-movie Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is interconnected enough that many of its past entries are now required viewing. No Way Home is finally launching the MCU firmly into the multiverse though, and with that comes the potential to tie in past movies not even made by Marvel Studios.

For a thorough understanding of Tom Holland's Spider-Man timeline prior to the new film, one needs to watch (or re-watch) every MCU movie the wall-crawler has appeared in, in addition to all five Spider-Man movies Sony made before their partnership with the modern, Disney-owned Marvel Studios. For most people, however, finding the time to rewatch all of these films ahead of No Way Home's release probably isn't realistic. The leanest route to take while still getting mostly up to speed is to re-watch Spider-Man: Far From Home, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2, and finally The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Since Spider-Man doesn't have an origin story movie in the MCU, it's fairly safe to skip Civil War and Homecoming, since the dynamic between Tom Holland's Peter Parker and his friends is pretty easy to grasp from just watching them interact in Far From Home, the second entry in the series. Far From Home is required viewing due to its ending leading directly into No Way Home, but also offers a path around revisiting Infinity War and Endgame, since it offers multiple expository references to those events. Raimi's first two Spider-Man movies are necessary due to both Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin and Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus looking to play big roles in No Way Home, plus it provides a backstory for Tobey Maguire's Peter should he show up.

Shane Romanchick is a TV and Movie News Writer for Collider. He also runs his own blog Entershanement Reviews where he writes about and reviews the latest movies. He graduated from Regis College in 2019 with a Bachelor's in Communication and minored in both Film Studies and Writing.

His love for writing and film started at a very young age with his earliest memory being watching Blue Clues when he was 3 months old. That show means the world to him as it unlocked his creative side and made him comfortable in his own skin. From there, Shane became a huge fan of comics books and cartoons. He spent most of his childhood watching Scooby-Doo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Batman, and Justice League. His favorite childhood films includes Scooby-Doo 2002, Batman Begins, and Spider-Man.

Shane's High School years is when discovered his love for Horror. Watching films like Halloween, Scream, and Friday the 13th for the first time, he never looked back. He was a horror fan for life. Paranormal Activity 4, It Follows, and Annabelle where the first batch of films he was brave enough to see in theaters. Now a decade later, he has become an expert in the genre. Black Christmas, Anna and the Apocalypse, Oculus and It Follows are some of his favorite films of all time. However, it has been slasher films that have become his true confort food. Scream VI, Freaky, Sick, Terrifier 2 and X have become some of his recent fravorites. In addition, he's a huge Halloween fan and he'll never apologize for his love for Halloween Kills and Ends. In terms of action, Shane is also a huge James Bond fan and the ending of No Time to Die was the hardest he's ever cried in a theater.

However, Shane isn't just a movie guy. He also loves video games. Super Mario Sunshine, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2, and Batman: Arkham City are some of his favorites. Music plays a big part in his life as well. Given that Shane's a big horror fan, you might be surprised to learn that he's a pop guy. Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, The Jonas Brothers, and Demi Lovato play on repeat while he's writing.

In his free time, Shane loves going for runs and playing with his 16-year-old beagle Butterscotch. Butters for short, she has been the greatest love of his and inspires him everyday, both creatively and emtionally. On top of that, he's now a huge collector. He loves Funko Pop, McFarlane Toys, and Neca's huge line of horror figures. In the last two years he has been going to a lot of conversations to buy an unhealthy amount of figures. This has also allowed him to meet some of his favorite filmmakers/actors like Mike Flanagan, Matthew Lillard, John Carpenter, Grace Caroline Curry, Steve Burns and Kathryn Newton.

Shane has been writing for Collider since October 2021 and loving every mintue of it. However, one day he hopes to become a screenwriter. At the moment he is currently working on his first screenplay tentatively titled "The Alien Murders" which he has describes as Halloween III meets The Faculty.

If you're not quite caught up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it can be intimidating to know what you need to watch in order to understand the latest movie. Never fear! I've made a list of movies that you might want to watch before seeing No Way Home. And you can check them all out from the library on DVD.

At the same time, so much of what made The Amazing Spider-Man movie a hit was the thrill of watching Peter and Gwen fall in love on-screen. Could Webb and the producers really kill off a character who added as much new energy to the films as Andrew Garfield did in the titular role?

The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) is a superhero film about Peter Parker, a high school student who gains spider-like powers and becomes the superhero Spider-Man. He must use his new powers to battle the villainous Lizard.

The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) is available to watch on Disney Plus. Disney+ is a well-regarded SVOD service with a strong library of content and a variety of features that make it a good choice for families and individuals of all ages.
