The Second PTA Meeting is scheduled for Thursday 17 Oct 2013 at 9:00 a.m.

 

Agenda:

 

-          Brief Overview by the Principal

-          Health Check Up Schedule to be discussed

-          Issues raised by the PTA representative with permission by the chair

 

Kindly Note:

-          Each PTA representative is requested to invite any significant issues from the parents of their class

-          Send it to Ms Mona Jhaveri

-          Ms Jhaveri will compile all the points and summarize the issues and send me a mail by Wednesday 13^th Oct

-          Please put forth only those issues that will benefit the larger student body rather than any individual parent.

Good Morning,

I have just received the mail regarding the next PTA meeting.Most of the parents cannot attend the PTA meeting on Thursday, as it is  a short notice and many parents are working . So it is a request If you could kindly postpone the meeting to next week, we would really appreciate it.It would also give us time to contact our respective classes and get a feedback from the other parents as well regarding school issues.

Kindly do the needful and oblige.

Dear Ms Jhaveri,

Good Morning.

 Regret the short notice for the meeting.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to change the date as we do not have any other convenient dates in October.

One of our main agenda is to discuss the coordination of the Health Check Up to be carried out in school and other new initiatives.

Members who are unable to attend can forward their concerns through you. We will be sending all members a copy of the minutes so that they are aware of the points discussed during the meeting.

We will plan the next PTA meeting more judiciously.

We do understand that you have a very tight schedule so everyone is trying their best to adjust and come on Thursday. But next time please do ensure that we get a weeks notice in advance so it is easier for everyone to plan their schedule accordingly.

Respected Ma'am,

Regarding your request there are a few issues which have been put up by the parents of all the classes which we would like to discuss with u. They are as follows-

1. Hygiene-

As we had mentioned earlier  there is still no improvement in the conditions of the toilets in the school. The toilets stink and there are lizards and cockroaches in the toilets. The children are refusing to use the washrooms. Sometimes if the children have vomited, it is not cleaned. Please ma'am this is a major issue with all the parents and we have been constantly been receiving complains regarding the same.

2. Mosquitoes-

They continue to be a problem. Please do ensure that mosquito repellants are used in the class.

3. School buses- 

They are also usually dirty and some of the buses have bed bugs in the seats.

4. School ID cards-

The children have given their photographs and are eagerly waiting for their ID cards.

5. Girls PT skirts-

The girls white pt skirts get very dirty by the end of the day. When the girls of higher standards get their periods, they get very uncomfortable and conscious with the white skirt. Plus in general also it is not very comfortable during PT period. We would really appreciate if the uniform can be changed next year.

6. Annual concert-

We had requested that the concert be shown to the children who had missed out. They are all looking forward to it. The examinations are also over so if they could watch it at the earliest we will be grateful.

Ma'am, we all wish that these issues be solved at the earliest and we will do our best to help in any way we can.
