The ceremony, which invokes "Praan" (breath) into idols and enables them to transition into Deities to response to our prayers and intimacy with them is called the " Praan Pratishtha Ceremony" . This ceremony entails: Chanting of Vedic hymns by priests during the performance of various rituals.

As we are getting ready for the big event, we need to follow some guidelines and hope you will cooperate to make this event a great success. Here are some guidelines during Grand Opening Ceremony:
1. Carpool, if possible
We are expecting more than 500 people, therefore parking may be difficult particularly on Saturday. Please try to car pool so that we have less number of cars to park. Parking on Potomac may not be allowed and likely to get ticket.
2. Safety
Safety is very important. Parents please pay attention to your children, particularly on stairs, elevator, outside, etc. Bring snacks and drink for children if required.
3. Food
Do not waste food. Please take less food for your children.
No food is allowed upstairs in the prayer hall.
6. Shoes
Please keep your shoes on the shoe rack and not on the floor.
7. Dignitary Guests
Gov. Hickenlooper, Mayor of Centennial City Cathy Noon, and State Representative Janak Joshi are expected to arrive around 5 pm on Saturday. Be respectful and show the strength of our Indian Community.
8. Respect to All
Everybody is a volunteer. Please help to keep the place clean. Follow the general guidelines and make it a memorable day. Have fun.
9. Dress Code
Ladies and men wear traditional Indian dress.
