Mark your calendars! On Tuesday, May 4th, join Green & Open Somerville via Zoom at 6:30 for an update on what we've been up to, projects we're working on, and ways you can get involved.

Then at 7, we transition to an hour of all things native plants! We will give a brief update on the Native Plant Ordinance, and then a presentation by our very own native plant experts on what you can grow in your garden, no matter the size. We'll have suggestions for what to plant for different months, colors, smells, and what they attract. There will be a Q&A as well.

We hope to see you then and feel free to share!

Hi all,

To piggyback off of Green&Open Somerville’s presentation, Tufts Pollinator Initiative will be hosting a native plant sale this June during National Pollinator Week. Join us on June 20th from 9a-4pm on the Medford-Somerville campus to help us support urban pollinators! Our prices cannot be beat: just $2 per plant

We will be selling more than 500 seedlings of 20 species of native, perennial plants loved by pollinators and people. Visit our website for more information, including a complete list of plants being sold. Spread the word, and hope to see you there!
