EwA Webinar (Synopsis)
Urban Insects - Help us Help Them in 2021
When: Tuesday, April 208:00 p.m. ET | Who: EwA Initiative | Register for free here
Now we know that our insects are the silent victims of both the climate and the ecological crises. We also know how their decline affects Earth's ecosystems and the species that depend upon them (including humans). Come see what volunteer citizen scientists saw, discovered, and recorded in our cities this past year. Because insects are understudied, this also means that there is a ton that we can do to help. The good news is that you can really make a difference (yes, you!). Our growing community of citizen scientists and volunteers demonstrate this continuously and we are continuing the program this year. Join us and learn how you can help.

Thanks to all who attended the EwA Urban Insects webinar tonight. It was a pleasure to have you with us!

We did not record the webinar (we'll record it later). But, here is the slide deck that we run tonight > here – Remember that the first 30 slides are pretty much photo records ッ / After those visuals, then all the details about the what, where, why, how (and data) come into focus. It's an interactive presentation, so you can click 'away' and access references, science papers, interactive maps, underlying databases and platforms and what not.

□ If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly.
□ You can visit the EwA website > www.earthwiseaware.org
□ More info about the EwA citizen science program > here
□ And if you're interested in volunteering with us (citizen science or in any other capacity), please let us know and fill the   EwA Volunteer Interest Form > here

Cheers & See you soon! - Claire
