Hi everyone,
I have just received an alert for the new book published by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press:
A Short Guide to the Human Genome
By Stewart Scherer

I have leafed through provided sample chapters and the content of the book and I think it could be a nice reference to have in CRI library.
The most interesting thing about it is that it offers answers to many general questions (see some of them below) together with reference on how to discover it yourself using information available in databases.
Anyway, if someone finds this interesting maybe we could order it and have a look at it + prepare a presentation/tutorial/workshop to cover the most interesting questions.
Ciao!
Tamara
