ok, so its been mentioned that the pricing is confusing... how to get
your cash.

simplest way:

* financier pays the full $475
* gets 10 full tourney wristbands and 5 play only wristbands.
* he/she collects the money from the 5 play only players ($10 per day
per player)
* if you have 15 players sat and sun you make $100.
* deduct from $475 -> $375
* divide by 10, collect $37.50 per person from the remaining 10
players.

for the other 5 players... if they want to eat, at the grill we'll be
selling wristbands for either dinner, dinner and beer, or just beer
and party. the captain will have to do NO EXTRA work. its
basically a la carte for those 5 players.

Sorry, Ed, but it's still really complicated and seems unfair, despite your best efforts to make it fair. For example: how do we select which players have to deal with buying meal/party wristbands? On the current pricing, it looks like those players wind up having to pay more. Is that pricing getting adjusted to reflect the only dinner options, etc. I know I personally would just want to divide it equally amongst the team so that no one feels cheated. Are there really that many players who don't want to stay for dinner/beer? I can see maybe skipping the party, but I think everyone will be hungry. What about team polls on the issue?
Can the no-beer option be available to old farts like me that don't drink beer? I don't drink beer because I don't like it. I've never asked for a discount based on that at a tourney before, but since we're doing the ala carte thing, can't I have that discount?

Thanks for your work on this. Our team is formed, we're set on a bid, right?

Sorry, I meant to just send that to Ed. Everyone please feel free to call me old fart as appropriate punishment for over-emailing.

we like punishment. better yet liz, i want to please you. even
better, your questions are good :)

there are many players who want to return home after the games and
just play. others are 1 day only players so they want to (perhaps)
eat on the day of they arrive.

cost is a factor to many, so some would rather not spend the $20 on
sat night or the $10 on sunday for food / beer.

i'll post the math i sent to max.

I DO AGREE however that if you can get me a total count of players and
if they want the full meal, then each additional player is $47.50.

going "a la carte" (play for $10 each day , eat sat for $20, eat sun
$10) is $2.50 more expensive.
