At BACKSTAGE Performing Arts Center, our mission is to provide a nurturing environment where aspiring performers can cultivate their skills in dance, acting, and singing. We are dedicated to creating a safe space that fosters growth and excellence, enabling our performers to reach their full potential in a pre-professional atmosphere.
BollyX, is a Bollywood-inspired dance-fitness program that combines dynamic choreography with the hottest music from around the world. BollyX draws inspiration from the music and dance of Bollywood, the film industry of India. Our performance will embody the infectious energy, expression, and movement of Bollywood and aim to expand the reach of fitness to more people worldwide.
Brandon Fong is an R&B Bay Area musician. His inspirations consist of Gabe Bondoc, Jeremy Passion, Frank Sinatra, and John Mayer. He currently shares his music online and plays in a Tahitian Performing Arts Company, Matahani, from Concord CA.
Capitol Chinese Orchestra was founded in 2010 as a non-profit organization to elevate Chinese music with our unique Chinese musical instruments. We reach out to serve the local community by visiting nursing homes and schools. We also provide entertainment to the public for social and cultural events such as the Asian Pacific Spring Festival, the CSUS summer program, and the California State Fair.
Dream Theatre was formed to provide adult individuals with special needs a unique and meaningful dramatic arts program to educate them in the arts and to provide a venue in which they can take part in dramatic
productions.

Nuevo Amanecer, led by Aurora Hernandez, is a Mexican folkloric dance group that is based in Sacramento and has been performing locally since 2012. Through the art of dance, Nuevo Amanecer has been privileged to perform their interpretations of the Mexican regions of Michoacan, Jalisco, Veracruz, Sinaloa, Oaxaca, and Chiapas, as well as Aztec-inspired performances. Nuevo Amanecer is a family-oriented group that prides themselves in expressing their love of art and Mexican culture through the form of dance to share with their communities.
Precision Dance Center is located in Roseville and is under the direction of Lisa Clement. We are proud to be celebrating our 15th season! We have had the opportunity to perform at numerous events over the years, including the Roseville Holiday Parade, the Sacramento Santa Parade, the Citrus Heights Halloween Parade, the Sacramento Kings games, the Sacramento River Cats games, the California State Fair, Disneyland, and several regional competitions.

The Sacramento Taiko Dan is the premiere Japanese drumming ensemble in the greater Sacramento region. Founded in 1989 by taiko master Tiffany Tamaribuchi, the group promotes traditional and contemporary styles of taiko drumming. This Japanese style of percussion combines music and movement, creating a dynamic and visually exciting art form.
The Sinag-tala Filipino Theater & Performing Arts Association (SFTPAA) is a Sacramento-based charitable 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing community members the opportunity to promote the works of Filipino musical, dance, literary, and cultural artists through the study, interpretation, and staging of theater and performing arts.
Cultural, economic, and other barriers limit the ability of most local mainstream arts programs to reach communities such as that of Filipino Americans.

Umoja Productions is a family and community-oriented African Dance & Drum Company that was formed 30 years ago. Maia (Ifalami) Morton has been involved with and performing African Dance & Drums for over 40 years. Umoja Productions utilizes the richness of African history through traditional dance & drumming, costumes, songs, folktales, and various percussion instruments to help participants increase their cultural awareness and pride and enjoy themselves while doing so.
