"We're bringing it back," the former Bloodhounds offensive lineman and assistant coach said. "I don't mean any disrespect to the three head coaches prior to me, since coach Harrison, but those three men weren't from Auburndale. I am, I played there, I played for coach Parrish, I played for coach Harrison, and I coached for both of them.

"We had a philosophy (that) winning was a byproduct of doing things right. We really believed because of coach Parrish and coach Harrison and others, that those men really taught us winning not just by doing things right on the field, but off the field. My theory is if we can bring that back, then the sky's the limit for Auburndale football."

Grantham might have his hands full trying to instill the kind of football he is accustomed to seeing at Auburndale. The Bloodhounds have made the playoffs the past two years, but each time they had to win their final game of the year to do it.

"A vast majority of people still don't feel like the team was very good (the past few years)," Grantham said. "I don't know exactly what ingredients were missing... but people that know Bloodhound football could see that it wasn't there.

"I truly believe that regardless of how many football games we win, if we're doing things the right way and the kids are getting some positive things out of the program, the vast majority of people in and around Auburndale will be pleased and they'll feel like we got our program back to where it needs to be. It might not happen this year and it may take until next year.

BALTIMORE, MD -- Heather Bichler (Waverly, PA/Abington, Heights) scored off an assist from Kelly Haymaker (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley) just over 14 minutes into sudden death overtime to lift the sixth-seeded Moravian women's soccer team to a 3-2 victory over third-seeded Johns Hopkins in the quarterfinals of the 2003 ECAC Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships at Homewood Field. With the win, the Greyhounds advance to the semifinals, where they will face second-seeded Lebanon Valley. The semifinals and finals will take place on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University, which is the top seed in the tournament.
