Today, we are going to eat some humans in a game that is called Alien Invasion. The title says it is an idle game, is this true, or not? It also mentions RPG, but this is a mobile game. How will you do in this game where you need to snack on humans? There will not be a story in this game, since you are just a black blob with tentacles that absorbs humans!

My first problem is with the game name, there are so many things that are called Alien Invasion that it might be hard to actually find this game unless you accidentally stumble upon it. Which is precisely what I did, stumbled upon it and the idle part seemed like a fun thing. As I wanted to find out more about this game before playing, I will visit the Google Play Store.

The first thing I thought, was that this game looks too good. As in, there is something, fishy. Maybe it is just a gut feeling that it is too grindy, or that the name is incorrect. Something put me off, something told me, this was going to be a bad game. There is only one way to find out, since I cannot judge or review a game on my gut feeling. Thus, I decided to play this game.

Quickly, I found out what my gut feeling tried to tell me from the information I saw on the Google Play Store, along with this game not having a decent header, which is just bad. And, I am not about to create a header for this developer. You will soon learn, this game is very watch ad to actually continue playing the game, as in, you almost need to watch more ads than actually play the game.

You can only absorb low tier humans and hold a small amount of meat, which you need to bring to an egg. The upgrades are costly and also cost DNA, but at level four, with levels going extremely slow, you can only get them by watching ads. Or if you want upgrade stones, you need ads since these enemies are unkillable. The levels up are slow, the gathering is slow, and not just slow, a snail is faster.

While it says this game is an RPG, it certainly is not, it is also not an idle game. While you do have a farm that makes a small amount of meat for you, that is all it does. And the delivery aliens are extremely weak. Upgrading to even be able to fight one enemy could take weeks, or even a month, unless you pay, or watch a zillion ads!

I rate the gameplay of Alien Invasion with a 2.1.

Holy Moly, this game is awful, the grind is too hard, as in, you can grind for a day and not move a single inch. Killing humans is also slow, and the only way to get further into the game is by paying real money.

The graphics are decent but very basic, all the humans look the same, unlike the ads say, your alien does not change, unless you grind for three months non-stop. Your delivery bots are not assistant but just aimlessly wander around. Getting to level four is insanely hard, and then you will still be in the same biome.

I did not like this game at all, my gut feeling was right after all. Grind, grind, grind and no gain at all. The only way that you can even get any gains is by watching an ad. And those keep spawning and the only way to get rid of them to gain loot, is by paying real money. This whole game is just a sad cash grab!

There are more doors that open but this game is not balanced, as when you level up and check out the new enemies, they will destroy you in seconds. There is no way to actually be strong enough to beat the enemies. Not even after unlocking the next area, meaning you will be grinding low-level enemies, over, and over, for hours upon hours!

The events are a huge scam, do not spend money on them as the leaderboard is a bunch of bots and if you put your phone on airplane mode and change your system time you will see your rank get lower and lower the more days that pass by when you do it

This game is about grinding, like all other mobile games, ads and money can help you move forward faster but it's not forced upon the player, you have the choice. I played all my games without paying a single dollar, this game is just fine, good for offline play.

The opening cutscene prior to the level displays an FBI agent sleeping, while a space-based radar is idle. Alien Hominid is in his UFO near Earth, when an FBI agent awakes to the space-based radar alarm and shoots down Alien Hominid's UFO . Alien Hominid crashes his UFO, and the FBI confiscates the UFO.

1-1 has two bosses; the first encountered is Tin Man. This boss is only seen on the first level of 1-1 and the piata minigame, in front of the 'Steakery Cakery', near the fence with the Newgrounds symbol. Tin Man will run to the other side of the screen, with his arms flailing behind him. After running to each side of the screen, Tin Man has a laser beam emerge from its metallic head. A green laser will fire at the center of the screen, then at ground level. Upon lowering Tin Man's health, he will start flashing green; once defeated, he explodes into a green cloud.

The Cyclops Robot can only be damaged by targeting its one green eyeball. The Cyclops Robot will only walk left and right, slamming its arms into the ground, damaging Alien Hominid. Its secondary attack is a laser beam that fires at its head level. It's identical to Tin Man's laser.

Once the Cyclops Robot is damaged down to a quarter of its health, it then smashes the "Greaseglob," turning it to rubble. The Cyclops Robot's arms fall off, and FBI agents rush onto the scene to attack you. The Cyclops Robot now only runs from one side of the screen to the other and jumps, then slams into the ground, doing damage to any alien or FBI Agent still on the ground.
