Sad News

Dear Parents and Guardians,

 

I am writing to you this afternoon to share the very sad news that one of our Gayhead students has died.  Christopher Endlich, a student in Ms. Griffiths’ class, was sick with pneumonia and died suddenly while in the hospital.

 

The family has informed us that there will be a funeral mass at St. Denis Church this Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 12:00 noon, to which everyone is invited.  A memorial reception will follow immediately at The Clubhouse at Four Corners.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Christopher’s memory to The Association for Children with Down Syndrome in Plainview, NY (www.acds.org) or the Pathfinder Village Residential Community and School for Down Syndrome in Edmeston, NY (www.pathfindervillage.org).

 

We know you share our sadness and offer our condolences for the family of Christopher.
