No Name Calling Week

Dear Gayhead Families:

Next week, our school will be participating in the National “No Name
Calling Week.”
Our Bully Prevention team put together a calendar of events that will
be taking place
beginning on Tuesday, January 22nd.
We are asking that you take the opportunity to talk with your child
about what they know
about bullying, name calling, teasing, etc. before we return to
school on Tuesday.
Discuss the meaning of their name and how they got their name. A poem
is included in the attachment and we also ask that you read it
together and discuss the meaning.
