R. Stephen Reilly

Fishkill - R. Stephen Reilly, beloved and incredible husband and
father and resident of Fishkill, died suddenly and unexpectedly on
Sunday, December 9, 2012 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh.
He was 42

Stephen was born in Queens, New York on January 11, 1970 and his
family moved to Dutchess County in 1982. Steve graduated John Jay High
School in 1988, SUNY Albany in 1992 and Albany Law School in 1995.

Since 2005, he was proudly working as a partner with his father-in-law
at Fitzpatrick Insurance Center in Peekskill.

While in college, Stephen played baseball for S.U.N.Y. Albany. His
love of sports led him to volunteer actively as a coach and mentor for
East Fishkill Soccer League, Little League Baseball and Youth
Basketball. A long time Mets fan, he loved playing baseball and
basketball and delighted in the opportunity to transfer his love of
sports to the next generation.

On July 16 1994, he married his high school sweetheart Aimee C.
Fitzpatrick at St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill. Aimee
survives at home along with their three children, Keara Dae (15),
Maggie Rose (12), and Mick (9).

Steve lived for his children and family. He was a gentle soul and
voice of reason. Steve was always willing to help both friends and
strangers and as such was a multiple organ donor upon his passing.

Stephen is also survived by his parents, Raymond & Virginia Reilly of
Wappingers Falls; his brother, Christopher Reilly & his wife Kerry of
Whitinsville, MA; his father and mother-in-law, Michael & Joan
Fitzpatrick of Fishkill; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel &
Julie Fitzpatrick of New Port Richey, FL and Pamela & Timothy Classey
of Holly Springs, NC. He was a loving uncle to Fiona, Bridget and Liam
Reilly, Ben Fitzpatrick, Kayla and Kylie Classey. Steve is also
survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 4 to 6
p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street,
Fishkill. A service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 6
p.m. on Friday, immediately following calling hours.

children. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
