Gay District holds facilitated discussions on the 1st & 3rd  Fridays of every month at The DC Center, located at 1318 U Street, NW. The closest metro stop being U Street Metro. Discussion starts promptly at 8:30Pm. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook / Google Group / Twitter and our online calendar for both discussion topics and group activities on the 2nd and 4th Fridays when discussion is not held.

Gay District helps participants become aware of everything the region has to offer through social and professional networking events and opportunities as well as *partnering with other LGBT groups and community based organizations for various activities and volunteering.

Through a synthesis of interpersonal interaction and community involvement, we aim to promote a more productive GBTQQ community and an enlightened understanding of gay urban living. In addition, we believe that our program will encourage them to become more active in the social justice arena. We strive to reach our mission through facilitated discussions, and regular and ongoing happy hours, weekend outings, community and cultural events, volunteer opportunities, and other occasions created by and for our participants.
