it worked.
now this relationship is gone

Blood is only a liquid
red is only a color
jealousy is tainted hope
hanging from this family tree

All hope is gone
nothing positive to believe
relationships gone wrong
this late hour has soured

She threw him under the bus
then batted those eyes
lied to his face
never even apologized

He is left flabbergasted
this world is upside down
his face sporting a frown
yet ready to go another round
