like black velvet skies
where Fate lies,
devouring itself nightly

This loneliness
an  impenetrable fortress
constantly on guard
thrown over the cliffs below

Unsightliness
gawking at it all
mouth wide open
shock it's only counter

Whispers and cruel words
shedding seeds of wisdom
angry scarlet crimson
flowing forever downward
