to be swallowed by the sun

Dancing with lame Mayans
who left us nothing but
superstition and supposition
red dust and crumbling rock

Centuries of men
guided by whispering voices
was it all in the head?
using religion
to court Armageddon

Bring it on
take away everything
eyeballing Oblivion
becoming nothing at all

I don't feel anymore
I don't care anymore
this state I'm in
uncomfortable within this skin
