My first gig as standup comedian: July 14

I'm a gay activist of many years (since 1973), here in San Francisco.
Humor has been a vital aspect of my activism...and now I'm taking it
to new heights: as a budding standup comic. My first gig will be at
Qcomedy, July 14; at the SF LGBT Center, 1800 Market St. San

Reception is at 7:30pm, show starts at 8. (I'll be one of the open-mic
standups after the showcase, with 8 minutes to strut my stuff...it
will be two little skits, both dynamite.)

My stage name is "Jehovah's Queer Witness"; which gives you *some idea
of what I'll be doing on stage. If you've read my humorous articles on
queer and activist newsgroups, or on my website...you'll have a VERY
GOOD idea.

Hey, isn't that close to where Mother Bernadette lives? Maybe she'll drop
in and give a performance herself. Hope she doesn't upstage you. Her
comedy act is pretty funny!
