Well, suffice it to say, there is no need for refusal. The current policy
stands: no openly gay men or women can be admitted into the military forces
of the United States. There is the "don't ask, don't tell" policy, but, for
lack of a better phrase, don't go there.

I see it this way: if they want me to be unable to defend my nation in
hostile aggression towards another nation and instead only send
heterosexuals to do so, who am I to complain? If any person condemns me for
this, then all they must do is read the law enacted by heterosexuals that
restricts me from doing this. Blameless am I. And to say that gay men and
women have not successfully entered into the military forces in the past (or
present) while remaining quiet about their sexual orientation would be
ridiculous. A close gay friend of mine served in the U.S.A.F., was
stationed in Japan for some time, and was dishonorably discharged due to the
fact of his sexual orientation.

Maybe you should keep your fucked attitude to yourself. He wasn't
discharged for buggery, sodomy, or playing "hide the wiggie". He was
discharged because he admitted that he was homosexual. This was long before
the "d.a.d.t." rule, so it doesn't apply. Get a fucking life. Leave
everybody alone, you homophobic waste. Your type are the ones that allow
the atrocities, as witnessed on the 11th, to continue to occur (check under
Taliban in Afghanistan for a beautiful rendition of how to blow out the
brains of homosexuals and dissident child-bearing women with no husbands).

Except that a gay man can be kicked out of the military without
having engaged in any gay activity, retard.

That strikes me as being monumentally hypocritical. Gays can
serve their country in times of need but not at other times... it
puts the lie to the military's assertion that gays disrupt 'unit
cohesion' but apparently only in peace time.

It's a horrible injustice. I believe the same thing happened during
the Korean and Vietnamese wars. I intend on bringing the subject
up with my state representative next Saturday, he is supposed to
attend a dinner fundraiser for the NY Survivors that I helped sponsor.

But if the DADT policy as abandoned completely and gay soldiers
could serve openly as they do in the vast majority of NATO forces,
there would be no need to close this "loophole". Besides, what have
you got against people who don't want to serve in combat? Surely
there are plenty of other roles they could fulfil within the

Well, until the new information posted just few messages ago, it was
standard practice. What's worse is that we cannot serve during peace time
or when there are intermittent requirements for troops. But when there's
the need, Lucy, I'm hooomo! They don't give a flying fart then. Ever heard
of a double-standard, application of a double-edged sword, man speaketh with
forked tongue? "Here, indigenous people of North America, we offer a treaty
whereby we give you some baubles, make no wars, and you don't kill our few
settlers. Oh, by the way, don't mind those forts and troops and guns and
shit." Same story: oppress the weak, kill the unwary, hoodwink the
minority, etc., etc., etc. You fuckers are all.. the.. same.

And, by the way, because of this open invitation, I REFUSE to serve in the
military forces of this country. They make the laws, they can live by them.
When they treat us, atheists/gays/etc, like citizens, then maybe we'll be
inclined to protect like citizens.

So all people are equal in the eye of a rifle bullet headed toward

Saying "I'm gay" is homosexual activity?
Reading a book by a gay author is homosexual activity?
Going to a gay bar, if even just for the music (deity knows
a lot of my straight friends do that), is homosexual activity?
An anonymous tip that merely makes the claim that so-and-so
is gay is homosexual activity?

Yep, it's an awful injustice and terribly hypocritical. How many times

It's pretty much at the convenience of the military it seems.

The military is composed of human beings, and most of the men may
think gays are "icky" most of the time. But I don't think that most of them
would think the same "icky" thoughts as you. I know you can't comprehend
this, but many "men" are not threatened by gays like yourself.

I disagree. He's got plenty of class. Unfortunately, it's all LOW.

Hmmm... I am just wondering which of the 4 gay newsgroups listed in

When he said he was just answering a cross post, he wasn't exactly
telling the truth, ........ but then again, when did he ever?

Never mind.
