Going backwards for a country like Canada will incite many pro-feminist
and masculinity movement after successful and golden jubilee of mature
mentality of decriminalizing same sex, I know some group will stand up
and stand for the rights, for better sexual living and sexual liberty.

The feeling here in Canada is that these religious Homophobic bigots are taking their cue from the American hard-line, right-winged evangelical fundaMENTAList (I deliberately spell it that way!)Christian bigots who back the current U.S. president and vice-president. They are not only targeting Gay people, but they are targeting women in general with anti-abortion laws, and ethnic and racial minorities. The United States is reverting back to the 50s under President Trump and vice-president Pence. They have the backing of very dangerous people. In Canada, Andrew Scheer, the leader of the federal conservative party, has the backing of extreme right-winged hate groups, and several dangerous religious groups like this CitizenGo group that is backing Scheer with Scheer's promise to re-criminalize Homosexuality, and forcing every Gay person to submit to conversion therapy, or face criminal incarceration. Apparently, according to the Canadian head of this hate group CitizenGo, "Love thy neighbour" means "Love thy neighbour, but only if thy neighbour is white, straight, and Christian". Sad and dangerous times for sure!
