FEATURED LINKS

The links section of our main site now has quite a bit of material to
choose from. It covers History, Studies, Articles, Essays, Audio/
Video, Reviews, other intellectual gay Forums, News Outlets (focused
selection of world and national), Columnists and gay Net Radio. I
really encourage anyone to make suggestions. My goal is for the gay
intellectual to find it a very refreshing and interesting place to
return.


CHAT CLIENT:

The author JG has recovered from his illness, but his business is
demanding his full attention, especially in this economy. All
indications is that he fully intends to recreate Chat Client, but
there is no immediate guess to when he will be back on the project.

CHANNEL-2:

The alternate chat room still exists and gets occasional use, but with
GDC's current stability, folks seem good with the regular room.
Channel-2 is based on the free Userplane/AOL service and offers audio
and video; a nice addition to meeting who we talk to. I've tried to
schedule weekly Audio/Video Meet-Ups for the Americas and EurAsia
regions to give us that opportunity to meet; you'll need to consult
the schedule and encourage others to join. More at

GDC:

As you likely know, GDC finally restored the Ignore feature. I am
hoping they do other clever things like give you your choice of font
size and colors, offer your own custom list of ignored words/phrases,
let you log/save the conversation to your system and let you
automatically rejoin the room when briefly disconnected.
