Without warning, GDC chose to destroy thousands of friendships by nuking their chat rooms. They replaced them with severely limited messaging that they say improves the service, "while cutting out the unwanted chatter". READ STORY
Former members of the GDC Intellectual room have regrouped privately elsewhere, with a differently themed purpose. Interest can be passed along through this site.
There are no current plans to reestablish an Intellectual chat room.
