My name is Emily Quinn, and I'm reaching out from the Emory Public Interest Committee (EPIC), a student-led organization founded over thirty years ago, dedicated to supporting students financially as they pursue early career options in uncompensated public interest roles. Every year, Emory Law students dedicate their summers to fighting for fairness. They represent tenants facing eviction, assist survivors of domestic violence, work in public defender’s offices, and help people navigate the most complicated moments of their lives. These students bring passion, empathy, and long hours to critical work. But far too often, these positions are entirely unpaid. That’s where EPIC steps in. Through our Public Interest Grants, we fund students who choose public service, ensuring they can keep serving Atlanta’s communities.
I'm reaching out to the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers in the hopes you can partner with us this year to help make the grant possible again this year. Across Georgia, communities are facing deepening challenges in housing, healthcare, and access to representation. The law has always been one of the most powerful tools for change, and now more than ever, we need students who can thrive in these roles.
Your partnership helps make that possible:
- Diamond ($10,000+) – Funds multiple student summer grants. Sponsorship includes twenty tickets to the annual Inspiration Awards, logo recognition on all promotional materials, and a special tribute in communications with our community of donors.
Summer ($5,000) – Fully funds one student’s public-interest summer. Sponsorship includes ten tickets to the annual Inspiration Awards and premier placement on all promotional materials.
Platinum ($2,500+), Gold ($1,000+), Silver ($500), and Bronze ($250) – Provide flexible support that collectively powers dozens of placements each year. Sponsorship includes three to eight tickets to the annual Inspiration Awards and recognition on promotional materials.
Thank you for considering supporting our students this season!
With gratitude,
