Hi All,

I am reaching out in my capacity as Editor in Chief of the Georgia State University Law Review. We are seeking an attorney to serve as a panelist at our annual Legislative Forum. The details are as follows:

We are looking for personal injury attorneys who would like to participate on a panel for the GSU Law Review Legislative Forum. This panel will explore recent legislative proposals on tort reform (SB 68, SB 69), religious freedom (SB 36), open records (SB 12), and agricultural regulation (SB 144). These bills raise important questions about liability limits, lawsuit financing, and how changes to civil litigation rules affect businesses, individuals, and the courts.
Personal injury attorneys will offer a practitioner’s perspective on how these legislative shifts shape access to justice, litigation strategy, and client outcomes. Their role on the panel is to help bridge the discussion between legislative intent and the real-world implications of these reforms for Georgians seeking relief through the courts.
Event Details:
  • Date: Thursday, November 6, 2025
  • Time: 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.
  • Location: Marjorie & Ralph Knowles Conference Center (Lower Level), Georgia State University College of Law, 85 Park Place NE, Atlanta, GA 30303
  • Format: Presentations of the Peach Sheets, dinner, and 3 panels moderated by Professor Derrick Pope
  • Food: Dinner is provided!

Please consider offering your expertise. If you're interested, please reach out to me at gsuedito...@gsu.edu or our Legislation Editors, Emily Colindres & Kate Chesser, at legislat...@gsu.edu.

    Thank you,
Humayra Bramblett, Past GAWL GSU President and current GAWL member
