This mail is mote aimed at Nevil but lets all comment.

What we doing for Icon?

Standard tournament rules?

Most of the wargaming tournament's have been broken up into multiple 1 day tournaments so that people can take partbin multiple different game system tournaments. Do we want to do that?

Aka. Standard on a Saturday and Draft on a fri or sun?

Maybe we can put up a Facebook pole and see what day would get the most players for a standard tournament.
It is a 3 day event

My plan is to run the std tournament as usual (Sat & Sun) to keep the format and tournament style consistent.

FYI: std constructed, prelims and final.

There will be an entry fee of R30-R50 to cover costs of boosters.

We could do a draft on Fri if we can get enough commitment (min 10 people), but booster costs would put it at ~R100 pp.
