Thevisuals were born from me and Marco Ferrario (Lvnar) to match the snippets of the various pieces, the experience could not have lasted longer because of the low temperature. Everything was centered on allowing an experience being lived entering in a different dimension that could go with the record. We wanted the experience to be 360 degrees, so we decided to combine each piece with a visual that would suits the moods of the songs. Graphics thus worked as visual info.

The idea of involving Corey Olsen was mine. When I approached the cover I wanted something that would follow the graphic line of my previous albums, which is photography. The image would have to collect the meaning of Neverland in itself without really explaining it, and this photo was in my opinion the perfect synthesis for it. It narrates a dualism, the overlapping of souls, ideas, concepts and above all it is an undeniably strong image.

Generally talking, how is it for you working with the covers of your album, when in your second parallel life of Corrado Grilli, you also have to deal with colleagues from the world of music for the realisation of their artworks?

Neverland is an imaginary place, we have been there while listening to the album released last Friday, what is the track that set the spark for the origin of this album, apart from Akureyri of course?

Nel 2009 entra a far parte del collettivo Blue Nox, insieme a nomi importanti della scena rap italiana come Kiave, Ghemon, Macro Marco e Hyst.[1] Nel 2010 esce il secondo EP, intitolato Le valigie per restare. L'anno successivo, dopo aver pubblicato due singoli (Per le briciole e Le cose buone), pubblica il terzo EP dal titolo Bagagli a mano.

Il 7 settembre 2012 viene rilasciato per Macro Beats il primo album ufficiale, Disco Inverno, che ottiene un buon successo mediatico.[2] A promuovere il progetto fa seguito un lunghissimo tour nazionale, con esibizioni su palchi importanti come quello dell'Hip Hop TV B-Day al Mediolanum Forum di Milano. Nel settembre dello stesso anno, il Meeting delle Etichette Indipendenti premia il rapper come Miglior Solista.[3]

Il 27 gennaio 2015 esce Laska, secondo album ufficiale. Il disco, caratterizzato da sonorit elettroniche, porta il rapper nel definitivo mainstream.[4] In seguito al successo ottenuto, intraprende il secondo tour nazionale.

Nel 2018, firmando un contratto con Universal, conclude il rapporto lavorativo con Macro Beats.[6] Il 22 giugno esce il quarto album ufficiale, intitolato Blue Karaoke.[7] I primi singoli estratti sono stati Pratica e Tu ed Io, quest'ultima in collaborazione con CoCo.[8] Come per i precedenti progetti, anche per questo viene definito il tour nazionale. Verso la fine dell'anno inizia a collaborare con il produttore italo-inglese Sick Luke, pubblicando i singoli Akureyri e Pazzo di te.[9] Questo rapporto culmina con l'annuncio dell'album Neverland, pubblicato l'11 ottobre 2019.[10] Il disco, oltre ad aver debuttato alla posizione n5 della classifica iTunes, viene promosso prima con tre live a Milano, Napoli e Lecce e poi con il Fuori dalla citt Tour.[11]

Il 4 giugno 2020 pubblica il brano Ho guardato un'altra, seguito, il mese successivo, dai singoli Cos forte e Paura di me.[12][13] L'8 settembre pubblica il singolo Vivere che vede la partecipazione del rapper Izi[14], il quale anticipa il suo quinto album in studio, Mentre nessuno guarda, uscito il 16 ottobre 2020.[15]

L'11 febbraio 2021 pubblica il singolo Soli, in collaborazione con Ghemon e Ginevra[16] mentre, il 26 dello stesso mese, rilascia il singolo Mille cose, in coppia con la cantante Rainsford.[17] Entrambe le canzoni vengono poi inserite, insieme ad altri sei inediti, nella deluxe edition dell'album[18], il quale viene certificato disco d'oro dalla FIMI il 28 giugno.[19]

Vive a Milano.[21] Si diplomato con lode allo IED di Roma ed ha collaborato con molti artisti, italiani ed internazionali, alla realizzazione grafica di vari progetti musicali.[22] Tra questi figura anche Dargen D'Amico, per il quale Grilli ha realizzato il progetto grafico dell'album Vivere aiuta a non morire.

Lungomare Paranoia is the title of new album by the Italian rapper Mecna. We asked him a few questions to find out more about his album and especially his opinion about the influence that today fashion has on the music.

#7 How far does fashion influence music and vice versa in your opinion?

I believe there is a close connection between fashion and music. Look at Supreme, OFF-WHITE and VLONE, to name a few. There is a constant exchange of energy between artists and designers, which probably starts from merchandising and then evolves in reality far more structured and successful.
