Preset XML files created using BodySlide are free for you to use. You are also free to upload and share them with others!
If your edits were done purely using sliders and you want to release the built meshes, you must ask for permission first.
You may not reupload the entire mod or all possible body variations, especially not without permission!
Preset files are the preferred way of sharing your body shapes.
If you are planning to upload parts of the mod package as is, please ask for permission first.
The program itself and its source code are however licensed under the GPLv3+.
No file contained in the archives available on this page are to be sold for monetary gain anywhere.
Outfits including the CBBE body or making use of CBBE/UUNP sliders are not to be sold.
Special Note:
These permissions only apply to the files that come with BodySlide itself. If you create an outfit conversion or any other edit of someone else's work, you MUST follow THEIR permissions/requirements before sharing with others. I cannot give you permission!
I'm doing some mesh edits of some Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition Armors that I want to put into Skyrim as a little side project from my Fallout 4 modding, but I keep running into a weird issue where the exported files I build using Bodyslide are in Fallout 4's NIF format, instead of being NiTriShapes like they should be.
having the same problem , installed CBBE curvy then did my bodyslide , and when i start a new game my female character seems to be using the vanilla body and not the one from my bodyslide , its using my Valkyr face thoh just not the body , tried to re-install CBBE , and nothing is over wrtting it either
It appears another mod may be overwriting CBBE. Try moving CBBE to the bottom of the load order by dragging it to the bottom. (You can lock it in place by right clicking if LOOT or another utility keeps moving it.) Another way to troubleshoot this is by disabling everything except CBBE and see if you have the same issue. Do you have the folllowing lines in your fallout4custom.ini file to enable loose files? In MO2 you need to make these changes inside MO2 using the "Explore Virtual Folders" C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Fallout4 for the changes to take affect.
HI, I am new to MO2. I followed these steps and got into the options to batch build, yet I have 1 problem.
When i had NMM I used Lazman Outfit Replacer to get rid of the vanilla outfits, thus didn't install any of them from Caliente Beautiful Body Enhancer installer. Yet when I look for them in Bodyslide its not there, nor is many other bodyslides in my prior regular mod installs. What would be the solution to this?
I am wondering if maybe I misinterpreted a mod as one type of mod (on the load order recommendations I listed above) instead of another or if something else is at play? At this point, all of my Google searches tell me to do or try things that I have already attempted, so I am at a loss here. I played Fallout 4, unmodded, back when it was new and in the intervening time, have been playing modded Skyrim (but mostly oblivious to how mods interact with each other). I specifically have chosen to avoid using LOOT as all it ever did for me for Skyrim was break my game so it would CTD when a save was opened (with no changes to mods). I have looked around at xEdit, but I am more likely to break things than fix things with it as I have no idea what I am doing when I am looking at a mod. I am hoping that I missed something, OR maybe I am missing a critical mod??? Any help is appreciated.
I've been trying to watch some videos on Youtube about adding more mods into my Fallout 4 game like Gophers Fallout 4 mod clinic with the bodyslide and CBBE. I seem to be having a difficult time with getting these mods to work in game. I follow the videos instructions step by step with no luck what so ever, I'm also looking in the forums for help on this but I'm not having any luck with this. Is there any way someone out there could assist me with my problem? Also on a side not when i was reading through the beginners guide in the nexus forum the poster of the topic suggested a LOOT tool, Wrye Flash, and FO4 Edit. are these mandatory when using Mods? thank you so much for your help and any input would be great!
Is there a way to select downloaded bodyslide presets in game after 'installing' them through Mod Organizer 2? I have bodyslidestudio installed through MO2, so I'm not using the bodyslide program itself.. therefore is there a menu for in game presets?
Hey everyone I hope this is the right subreddit for these kind of questions but, I need some help regarding a certain mod that has an incorrect mod file path written when building with body slide.I'm using a body replacer mod called the Foot Fetishism Body that uses the CBBE body for.....the body and replaces the feet into something more dainty and cute.
I am having a problem using Bodyslide and Outfit Studio where the UI becomes very slow. In Bodyslide, when typing in the Outfit Filter text box, the text does not appear as I type - there is a long delay. It helps if I grab the window and resize it, the text will appear immediately at that point. Otherwise, it is very laggy. In Outfit Studio when making a selection in the Meshes or Slider menus there seems to be no effect. For instance, if I have an outfit loaded and I click the icon next to the outfit item, the item will disappear in the preview window, but the icon in the Mesh window does not change. Or if deselecting a slider, nothing will change in the slider menu unless I resize the window.
I am using Bodyslide through Mod Organizer 2 and I believe i have it set correctly as I can see all the outfits when I open Bodyslide. I also have Bodyslide installed on a laptop which does not have this lag problem. None of the other programs I use through MO2 (zEdit, FO4Edit, Wrye Bash, etc.) have this problem. And if I use run Bodyslide outside of MO2, it works as expected
If you are a MO2 user, you can locate your bodyslide preset by going to the DATA tab on your MO interface and browse to Tools/Bodyslide/SliderPresets/YourSliderPresetNameHere.xml. You'll notice theres a second column on the right of your preset, saying where its comming from. For eg: the aaaaaabuttonFinal.XML is coming from Bodytalk Bodygen Presets so you need to open that mod folder in your MO2 (open in explorer) and browse through the said folder
Now open up bodyconvert tool.
With that opened: paste the code we copied from the bodyslide preset xml in the Bodyslide (XML) column then hit the button below (1. To Bodygen) > then press the button second button below (To Bodymorph) > And last copy the new generated code in the last column - BodyMorph (JSon), we gonna paste that to the looksmenu slider
Now open your looksmenu preset with notepad++ by going to the following directory > Data\F4SE\plugins\F4EE\Presets\YourLooksmenuPresetNameHere.Json (same steps as the bodyslide preset if you are MO2 user).
Now before blindly pasting the code, you need to pay attention to the syntax or your preset wont load ingame
When you first open your preset, itll most likely look like this:
I'm in the game right now I'm using one of your presets which are very nice.
So I have to create the.json file with notepad ++ right?
But if I want to modify a preset already done but in xml
do I have to follow the same procedure or does it change? Thanks again
Apologies for the vague title, though I was wondering if there was a way to use two different body presets using BodySlide as most presets come with a nude and a clothed version, and I'd like to know if there was a way to switch between them during gameplay, with the clothed version showing when wearing clothing and vice versa. Thanks.
I mash up a bunch of different outfits and when I'm happy with the results I save the project as a backup and then export the new .nif and save over an outfit I know I'll never use (This being tschutschi's wardrobe II's DC Looter outfit) and then go to bodyslide.
I'm using unique player and want to change the bodyslide preset for my new outfit to my character's one but when I preview the outfit the old DC Looter is what shows up. If I then just jump into the game then it usually works well enough but the body shape isn't what I want but if I try building the outfit to fit my preset then it reverts back to the original.
I wrote a the whole story about this issue but it didnt post the first time. And I really dont wanna type the whole thing again, I hope you can still understand the issue. I'm using Vortex as the mod manager if that helps, I know some people don't like it, but I tried this using MO2 and the same issue happened.
(EDIT) SOLVED. How I figured it out, when you install bodyslide/reinstall it, it tells you (the second picture) to select the bodyslide file to launch the exe properly. I directed it to select the Bodyslide Folder, which doesnt contain in the exe in it (shown in 3rd picture). But in the second picture it says "select the data folder" which I totally skimmed over before the fix. I simply selected the data folder and voila the "no image" in the preview is gone when bodyslide is launched and the textures are all there.
If you just want to add a Bodyslide preset to the available options in OBody, simply download the bodyslide preset and install it using Mod Organizer 2. If you are unfamiliar with installing mods using Mod Organizer 2, refer to this tutorial.
If you download a RaceMenu Preset from Nexus or another website, simply install it as normal in Mod Organizer 2. If you are unfamiliar with installing mods using Mod Organizer 2, refer to this tutorial. Note that the presets included with Masterstroke have been verified to work with the modlist, if you download a preset from Nexus or another website it may not work perfectly with the modlist. You may need to make tweaks to the preset in RaceMenu in-game to make the preset appear correctly.
