thank you for the reply i am only currently using kaspersky VPN i tried difference virtual server within the kaspersky VPN it still shows the same error code. I dont have much idea of the unblocker issue thought.

2) You are using a proxy, some specialised ISPs offer this as a value-add (but more likely someone you live with set it up). ping www.netflix.com and android.nccp.netflix.com and see if the IPs returned are not what you get at work. You could try an IP "whois" and a geoip lookup on those IPs to see if they are owned by AWS and are in the same country respectively. Of course so may be the proxy. Check what your dns server is set to (ipconfig/ifconfig), is it your router or an IP from your ISP?

I found an interesting article that suggest that Netflix is now using some kind of delay detection for proxy and VPN as those type of connection usually add some latency. Let say that for a particular region Netflix should expect a specific delay and for whatever reason this is not, a false positive may occur.

I had those issues and most of the time my internet connection was saturated because someone else in the house was doing big download or also listening video streaming. Stopping the download resolve the proxy error on my netflix session.

ExpressVPN is our top VPN for streaming, and for good reason. The VPN service has thousands of servers in more than 100 countries. This means you can access all popular Netflix libraries, including those in the U.S., the U.K., Canada and Australia, with no problem.

According to our speed tests, ExpressVPN offers consistently fast speeds. If you want to watch Netflix in 4K, ExpressVPN is a great pick. If you want even higher speeds, consider using MediaStreamer. MediaStreamer can theoretically increase connection speeds since your connection is not encrypted while using it.

NordVPN is a great, low-cost alternative to ExpressVPN that offers similar performance to ExpressVPN but at a lower cost. It unblocks Netflix and other platforms like Amazon Prime Video, BBC iPlayer and Hulu, and you can stream high-quality content on ten devices simultaneously with NordVPN.

CyberGhost gives you access to servers in more than 90 countries and almost all streaming sites. CyberGhost offers a generous 45-day money-back guarantee on all plans except the monthly plan, whereas all the other VPNs on this list offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Head over to our CyberGhost review to learn more about the service.

Older accounts still have access only to three locations (the U.S., the Netherlands and Japan) and allow you to select the server location. We go into more detail about this VPN provider in our Proton VPN review. We also have a detailed guide on the best free VPNs for Netflix if you want to explore more options.

Features like obfuscated servers, streaming-optimized servers and smart DNS can help bypass the Netflix proxy error andimprove the streaming experience. VPN features like split tunneling are also nice to have. Split tunneling helps you stream Netflix content using the VPN connection while other apps (you can select which ones) use the unencrypted connection.

Have you dealt with the Netflix proxy error before? Which VPN did you use to unblock Netflix, and what was the performance like? Let us know in the comments below, and as always, thank you for reading.

The easiest way to get past the Netflix proxy error is to use a top VPN. We recommend ExpressVPN because it easily gets into Netflix and offers fast connection speeds. However, you might also consider services like NordVPN, Surfshark, CyberGhost or PrivateVPN, all of which effectively get past the Netflix proxy error.

None of the proxies we tested worked with Netflix. Even if you find a proxy that works, Netflix will likely ban it at some point. Proxies are also slow, which means any video content you stream is likely to buffer. We recommend using a VPN instead.

Previously I was able to access Netflix from AirVPN servers no problem (I am using default AirVPN DNS by the way), but I tried tonight from 5 or 6 different servers in the US and Canada and all of them showed me the message about using a VPN or proxy whenever I try to watch something. I am wondering is the rerouting still working or has Netflix cracked down on it?
I have included an image of the error I am getting

Same problem for me, but Firefox on Mac. I'm a US Netflix subscriber accessing Netflix US.

I've even tried setting up netflix.com as "Outside the VPN tunnel" in Routes and Netflix still gives me the same error message when I try logging in. This puts me in a serious bind. I just renewed my Air account for another 3 years this past November. Very concerned.

Same here for me. Netflix works for a few days, then the vpn is detected. Nothing seems to work to correct the issue except to wait a few days, then it works again. A detailed explanation by Airvpn of what is going on would be appreciated by all of us having this problem.

Hello!

Netflix USA and only USA is accessible from AirVPN servers as usual if and only if your system queries AirVPN DNS (which happens by default with our software). EXCEPTION: the following servers can not reach Netflix USA at the moment;:

I totally understand why Netflix tries to block content, and agree that I would probably do the same if I was in their position. However, since I pay for a USA Netflix account so I can watch USA content, you should not criticize me for trying to view that content when I am out of the country for 6 months out of the year. Downloading episodes before leaving the country for that long simply is not practical. When I cannot access them via vpn, I connect without the vpn and watch other content available here in South America. No big deal.

By the way, I never connect to Netflix using vpn when in the US, that would be ridiculous. I guess I'm using common sense after all.

My original request for information is still partly unanswered....I am trying to understand why Netflix does not detect vpn for a few days, and then it rejects the connection for a few days, then it works for a few days, etc., etc. It does not make any difference when I clear the Netflix cache or not. Call me curious, but I want to understand what is going on behind the curtain. Any clarification would be welcome.

It seems that Netflix has started blocking AirVPN in it's entirety, at least on the multiple servers I've tried so far.

I've tested multiple different countries from places in NA, Europe, etc. and all of them when attempting to use Netflix get told that they detect that I'm on an "Unblocker or Proxy" and to go to their page on proxies.

Obviously this would be pretty frustrating to anyone, but I want to know if anyone else is having this issue, thanks.

I'm on a Windows PC using Eddie UI and Firefox Developer Edition.

Hi,

Tried almost every US-Server and a lot of others. Can't even sign into netflix.
Is there any update?

US-Server Lich is loading the website, but no more. No sign in possible. Most of the other servers get blocked so you can't even load the netflix website.

It's not a big deal for me I'm just asking myself if there is maybe new servers that are fixing this problems? Because

Hello!

Currently Netflix is not accessible from our infrastructure. We are working on the problem. As usual, we can't promise anything on such peculiar subject. The proper source of information, which is frequently updated, is our post in the correct forum:

If they connect to Netflix through Machine C, they get the message (translated from italian): "Something went wrong. Streaming error. Looks like you are using an unblocker or proxy, disable those services and retry. Error code: M7111-5059."

I'm not concerned about their inability to watch TV shows at lunch: I'm mainly concerned that my setup could have an hole and others can actually track the real network's details when users do surf through Machine A's VPN.

Following suggestions in the first Answer from Mr. Yevhen Stasiv, I've run WITCH VPN Detector test and it doesn't show relevant differences between Machine A and Machine C's VPN. It only shows two hops less, 7 vs 9. (probably, Machine A and B indeed!!).

It's possible that your IP address has recently changed and that hasn't yet been picked up by netflix. You might also be running a VPN without being aware. They are sometimes installed as browser extensions or part of AV software.

Hey @Fastra,

Sorry to hear you are having this issue with your Netflix, I can confirm that our network does not use any VPN's on our services, what I would recommend is running a virus scan on all your devices you are getting this error on to remove the program that you do not recognise.

Joe
