I own a reasonably good computer which is capable of running a 64 bit operating system. It came installed with Windows 7, which I wiped quite a while ago, and installed Windows 8 Pro when it came out. However, for some dumb reason, I installed 32-bit Windows rather than 64-bit. This hasn't been much of a problem (I didn't notice until recently), so I continued to use the 32-bit windows.

When Windows 10 was released, I considered upgrading. When I was doing research on compatibility issues etc., I noticed that my computer was only using 2.98 out of the 8GB of installed RAM. After some more research, I came to the conclusion that it was my 32 bit operating system. This was when I realised that my computer was capable of running a 64-bit operating system. So naturally, I want to use the 64-bit operating system.

Because of a few unrelated issues, I decided to do a clean install of Windows 10. Many guides I have read state that it is very highly recommended that I perform the upgrade first then do a clean install, so the activation servers will recognise my hardware as Windows 10 activated. So I performed a manual upgrade via the Media Creation Tool. Now, before I perform the reset and clean install, I wish to check whether my product key (or rather my hardware activation, which would be the case for Windows 10) is compatiable with the 64-bit windows.

I currently have a Windows 10 Pro 32-bit operating system on my 64-bit compatible computer and I wish to install the 64-bit version of Windows. Is the activation for my 32-bit operating system enough to activate the 64-bit version of the same Windows when installed?

Users who want to switch from 32 bit versions of Windows to Windows 10 64 bit should be aware the migration is a multi-step process. Due to changes how the compliance check is done for the free upgrade offer for Windows 10. Windows 10 64 bit requires a custom install, but before you can perform that, you need to first upgrade from your current 32 bit version of Windows to Windows 10 32 bit. Ensure you are signed in with a Microsoft Account and also ensure Windows 10 32 bit is activated.

I created a Windows (10) Python virtual environment (env3.7.3). When I open a cmd window activated in the virtual environment, I get the following warning message when starting Python in the virtual environment:

The Python interpreter from the Conda base environment does not complain about missing activation, because it's called by some of the conda subcommands and can work without an activated environment. Nevertheless, you should call conda activate base when working with that Conda environment, too.

This might be a dumb question but I'm on the Newegg website and it is selling Windows 11 Home 64-bit OEM but I am not sure if it requires a dvd or cd to install or if it includes an activation code that I can just use. When I scroll down it says "Packaging: OEM (comes with DVD disc). I am hoping it is just a code I can activate because I have no disc drive to use the DVD on.

I recently purchased Win 7 64 bit Professional and even though I did activated Windows with the original key, it seems now I'm being asked to activate Windows again and when I add the serial code again it says : A problem occured when Windows tries to activate. Error Code 0x80072F8F. I also tried another serial code and even ones from the internet but it seems my windows doesn't want to activate at all. Is there anyway to fix this problem?

Dan gave the correct answer, proswap is the preferred way to activate environments for Pro from the command prompt, it simplifies stuff like the problem you ran into. I just wanted to explain why you were getting the warning in the first place.

Notice that on line 8 (in OP) after you've called activate arcgispro-nov042021 your directory is still pointing to the arcgispro-py3 environment. So while you've activated arcgispro-nov042021 you're still running Python.exe from arcgispro-py3, leading to the problems you described. Once you switched out of the directory with cd you were no longer using the wrong Python.exe (no Python.exe in that folder) so your problems went away.

The Python Command Prompt will open in the environment currently active in ArcGIS Pro (this is backed by a registry key), so you've probably not activated another environment for Pro. Using activate won't affect the environment that Pro (and therefore the Python Command Prompt) is set to.

This method assumes that Windows or Office has never been activated on this machine before. If your machine had previously been activated with the earlier MAK activation method, please instead follow the instructions to switch from MAK to KMS activation.

Below you will find the download links for Version 3.1.0 of Stitchmastery. Stitchmastery will run in demonstration mode until activated. If you already have a Version 3 Activation Key, you may be prompted to put that key in when you download the software.

This indicates that the license has already been activated. If you have activated it on your own computer, please launch the program. If you would like us to check where it was activated, please proceed to our support form to provide us with the necessary details.

EnterpriseOne has supported 64-bit hardware, operating systems, databases, Java, and middleware for many years. Components such as HTML Server, Enterprise Server, Development client, AIS Server, Orchestrator and other Java-based components, are 64-bit enabled.

To specify that your application is to be multi-device, you must activate the desired target platform in the Projects Window. The activated target platform is shown in boldface in the Project Manager. The platform you activate determines the compiler and the tooling that your application uses (that is, macOS applications use the BCCOSX.exe and DCCOSX.exe compilers, and use FireMonkey-RTL).

The table below shows the Target Platforms node populated with the available desktop and mobile platforms (Linux requires Enterprise edition). In the Delphi and C++ projects, the Windows 64-bit target platform is activated.

If has deactivated qodbc from first computer and then need to activate it on the new computer, but when try it, the following message appears: []returned from QODBC activation server: ErrorThe parameter is incorrect. .

The installer always installs both versions if your OS is 64-bit.All reasonable hosts can choose the best version - if your host is 64-bit it will choose 64-bit plugins and vice versa. So you don't need to worry about 32-bit and 64-bit...

When SEV is enabled, instruction pages and guest page tables are always treatedas private. All the DMA operations inside the guest must be performed on sharedmemory. Since the memory encryption bit is controlled by the guest OS when itis operating in 64-bit or 32-bit PAE mode, in all other modes the SEV hardwareforces the memory encryption bit to 1.

SME can also be enabled and activated in the BIOS. If SME is enabled andactivated in the BIOS, then all memory accesses will be encrypted and it willnot be necessary to activate the Linux memory encryption support. If the BIOSmerely enables SME (sets bit 23 of the MSR_AMD64_SYSCFG), then Linux can activatememory encryption by default (CONFIG_AMD_MEM_ENCRYPT_ACTIVE_BY_DEFAULT=y) orby supplying mem_encrypt=on on the kernel command line. However, if BIOS doesnot enable SME, then Linux will not be able to activate memory encryption, evenif configured to do so by default or the mem_encrypt=on command line parameteris specified.

Upcoming builds of LibreOffice (> 4.2.0.0 dev, > 4.1.0.4, > 4.0.5.0 dev) have implemented support for Oracle Java SE 7, Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.7u45 with its imbedded Java Access Bridge (JAB) v2.0.3 (activated with a "jabswitch -enable" command). Or users preferring so may continue to use Java SE 6, and JRE 1.6u45, with an installation of JAB 2.0.2. -- 2013-07-24

The libCom library now provides support for 64-bit integer types on allsupported architectures. The epicsTypes.h header file defines epicsInt64 andepicsUInt64 type definitions for both C and C++ code. The epicsStdlib.h headeralso declares the following for parsing strings into the relevent sized integervariables: Functions epicsParseLLong(), epicsParseULLong() with related macrosepicsScanLLong() and epicsScanULLong(), and the functions epicsParseInt64()and epicsParseUInt64(). Use the first two functions and the macros for long longand unsigned long long integer types, and the last two functions for theepicsInt64 and epicsUInt64 types. Note that the latter can map to the types longand unsigned long on some 64-bit architectures such as linux-x86_64, not to thetwo long long types.

Previously there was no LNK0 field, so when SELM is Mask bit 0 of SELNcontrols whether the LNK1 link field was activated; bit 1 controls LNK2 and soon. When SELM is Specified and SELN is zero no output link would beactivated at all; LNK1 gets activated when SELN is 1 and so on. Only 6 linkswere provided, LNK1 through LNK6. The updated record type maintains the originalbehavior when the new fields are not configured, except that the SOFT/INVALIDalarm is not generated when SELN is 7 through 15.

Optional details, for the curious:The error message indicates that a certain library is only able to run on32-bit computers, but your Mac is a 64-bit computer. The command arch -i386 program tells the Mac to emulate a 32-bitarchitecture when it runs program.
