Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and white eyelashes lovers. The second I removed Daisy Lynn from her shipping crate at the cargo terminal at Delta I notice she had white eyelashes on her white side. WOW! I thought they were so pretty. I had to share!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Corgi/dachshund mixes lovers! This is just too much fun as you can see from LuLu and her Mommy going to K-Mart to purchase a soft measuring tape for gathering official basset hound town ear measurements! As you can see, LuLu loves to ride in the cart like any other kid!

Mommy states, Brutus enjoyed the measuring because it required no effort on his part. Brutus enjoys it when he can just lay down and be touched. (also it looks as if his ear is being stretched but I assure you it is not. It is actually resting on the rolling cooler)!

OK, OK, this is not a long haired basset but a sweet Sussex Spaniel named Nell. OMG! I just love Sussex Spaniels. As far as I can tell they are pretty rare. Here is a blog posting that Kerry of OneMom did about rescuing Nell. THE TRANSFORMATION AND STORY OF NELL.

This year at Westminster a Sussex named Stump won Best in Show! This is how I met Kerry of One Mom! I googled Sussex blogs and found a new friend! We have so much fun being basset hound town friends. Her daughter Hannah is so cute and loves Chaps and Emma!

Now for Sophie the basset hound. I have to tell you that when I saw this picture I was sipping OJ and most of it wound up on Emma. Chaps had fun licking it off. I always crack up when I see the faces of hounds getting ear measurements. It looks like they are being tortured!

Howllo Fellow Basset Hound and Bowser and Sadie lovers! I just love this new blog sub category! The hounds are so cute and for the most part seem a bit miffed! However, I know they all get treats after the dreaded ear measuring! LOL

Place the tape measure at the skull where the ear attaches. A cloth tape measure works great. This is not a contest but a historical record so we can keep track of our beloved hound ear measurements. Of course I will keep track of the longest ears. I just want everyone to measure the same way, which so far has worked great. I just wanted to reiterate this for anyone reading that has not heard the official guidelines of measurement. I will have my website guy post it at the top very soon.

Debra, thank you so much for sending in these bassetabulous ear stats. Belle and Bailey are now a part of history. Bailey is such a trooper. I wish I could catch a treat mid air! How cute is Belle? Gotta love that name.

So there you have it folks, 4 more residents howl in with official measurements. We will keep them safe and sound in basset hound town. Emma, has proclaimed herself town historian and keeper of the measurements!

This extensive collection of digital issues of the Horse & Hound archive runs from 1884 to 2012. It's starting to get frustrating! I never have a problem with actual hounds because I have a couple seconds to prepare. Put on armor, equip weapon, and wait. But Sea Hounds spawn with zero warning, they just show up.

Last attack, my boat was at about 100. Perfectly fine for a quick jaunt to pop a whale and bring the loot back to my base. Once I do that a pack of three comes after me and kills me because I wasn't able to kite them properly and because I didn't have a chance to equip a life jacket. I was at full health. If the attack had happened at land, I wouldn't have even come close to dying. But I just lost a game that was going so well.

First off, it's a bit difficult to run away when three come at me all at once from three different directions. I've already had to run away on multiple occasions, and it doesn't stop being a problem.

Finally, know your map's location of stink rays, they are excellent for removing unwanted sea hounds as the stink rays and sea hounds will quickly begin a fight (in the sake of safety have at least one anti-venom)

I died because I was attacked without warning by three Sea Hounds. My boat was far from being fully repaired, but it was hardly falling apart. I didn't even have time to equip the life jacket because they all attacked at once and sunk my boat.

I'm okay with sea hounds but some sort of nerf would be nice, because currently they are WAY more difficult to kill than terrestrial hounds unless you use the method where you lure them to land so that they're stuck.

If you're having troubles just be really prepared and make sure your boat is fairly healthy (more than half of max durability) and keep everything important in a slot that is easy for you to get to. For example, i keep my life jacket and the sort in my backpack so i always know where it is and can equip it in a second.

I was on a Klei server in winter when hounds were bane. I went to the penguins since it was late and my base was near pigs. The hounds attacked and I got them to fight the penguins and things were going just fine till dead of night hit. The hounds would attack the penguins and they would wake up but not attack back. They would either get stuck in thier battle cry or spin around. One hound took out almost a whole penguin pack until day hit. Then they acted normally and took care or the hound.

I had a similar issue with werepigs. I didn't notice the sound issue, but the werepig was able to take out the penguins one at a time when they were asleep. Not sure if its a bug that they remain sleeping, or whether the colony/rookery/waddle (a group of penguins on land) is supposed to wake up when any one of them is attacked.

I will have to play the pc version again to be 100% sure it wasn't changed; but I've died before for accidentally attacking them in the dead of night. I've also used this technique with hounds in the past.

This pale and aged yellow is a lighter version of an archived Farrow & Ball colour, Hound Lemon. Named by the great colourist John Fowler, the story behind its namesake remains a mystery! Pale Hound sits particularly well in sunny spaces where it reads as a light and delicate yellow, and in garden rooms where its underlying green pigment connects seamlessly with the exterior.

To clarify, I'm not writing it, and I have no input, but BeaconbuttheEisa3 is writing a fic inspired by my Hackhound AU and I know I'm not the only person who wanted to read something like this, so here's the link.

Axehounds have angular heads which have two sensitive antennae and ear holes. Supported by six legs, axehounds have scaly hides. Their bodies are covered with a fusion of carapace and skin, smooth to the touch and more pliable than true carapace. Bigger axehounds may come up to a man's waist and can weigh as much as one ton.[1]

It was no small task to painstakingly remove each page from bound volumes to be scanned, and subscribers should note that the archive is missing some volumes. This is as some editions were damaged by water in flooding, and more dramatically by bomb damage when the building next to the office was struck by enemy fire during World War II. These missing issues will be added as replacements are acquired and uploaded.
