Gainesville GTUG Next Meeting: Introduction to HTML5 Game Development 8/29 @ 7pm

The next Gainesville Google Technology User Group (GTUG) meeting will be on Monday, August 29th, at 7:00pm in the Center for Innovation and Economic Development (CIED)!

Pedro Diaz-Vargas and Mark Oelke will introduce the HTML5 Canvas API and demonstrate its use through the creation of a small web-based video game. Topics to be covered include drawing to canvas, and overview of the game loop and rendering queue, event handling, and sound generation.  We will also have food and drink once again. Please join us for a great time and a chance to dig into some very cool technologies!
