Hi,

I would like to invite everyone to the second class in Cloud Computing Lecture Series: "Distributed Computing using MapReduce". This class will be on April 18th (Wednesday) in NEB589 from 6-7 PM.

The topics that are included for this lecture series are:

Part I: GFS (Google File System) Distributed File System.

Part II: Distributed Computing using MapReduce.

Followed by: building scalable web apps using Google's cloud platform, "The Google App Engine".

Part III: Google App Engine - 1.

Part IV: Google App Engine - 2.

If you can, bring your laptops loaded with your favorite Linux distro :).
