Hey y'all!
We just had the first meeting at our house tonight and it was great! We are thinking that for the rest of the semester it will work better to change the childcare up one last time. :o) This semester, groups go until May 20th. We really miss a lot of you guys!!! I know many are traveling, have brand new little ones, busy work and school schedules, etc etc. So, in order to make life group work for as many as possible, we think relaxing the format will help. Here are our ideas:
- Visiting for the first half and discussing the sermons for the second half, and finishing with prayer requests
- No texting/emailing ahead for childcare.
- Life group every other week on Sunday night from 6:00pm to 7:30pm-ish. [March 11th, and March 25th]
We realize that so much is going on for so many, we really want the group to stay connected without a strict schedule. Please know that your sweet little babies and toddlers are welcome!!! The kids have several rooms to play in and with the days being longer now, they can also go in the backyard. :o) We are much more interested in making this fun and easy for everyone to connect than anything else. :o)
