hi !

i am using GateSpace OpenAcs for first time ,
i am not sure about how to run a simple test using one of the test
methods given there such as inform, reboot , upload , transfer
complete etc.

i added the device id using Find Device ID button which is mac address
of my computer
and tried to run the test and it displayed a blank log file

I need your help in figuring out that what kind of script or
application i need at the client side (that is running on my
computer) which will interact with the ACS.

and if it is possible then please provide me with a sample script for
communicating with openAcs.

i would be very thankful for any help

I'm not familiar with the xsd file you mentioned.

On your OpenACS admin page, you can download a TR-069 client application
that can be built and run on a linux workstation. I suggest you use it.

All communications are initiated by the client - if you don't have a client
application, there will be no log data (ie. No test will actually run).

Look in the “Documentation” section of the page.

Listed as:
Common WAN Management Protocol Client (CWMPc) software

By the way... You should specify the interface name not the IP address.

Use the ./cwmpc –h to get the help on command line options
