ChBE Advising?

To whom it may concern,

My name is Kamna Bohra, and I am a first-year ChBE major.  I'm planning to also pursue a Law, Science, and Technology minor (or pre-law certificate), but I'd like some help coordinating my plan for both ChBE and LS&T courses.  Unfortunately, I have class/lab during both of the times listed in a previous e-mail I received regarding advising help.  Are there any other times during which I could meet with someone to go over my 4-year plan?

Hello Kamna,

The main purpose of the ChBE SAB as a student lead group is to help out in terms of professor and class selection in a peer advisement role; this is not a substitute for academic advising usually provided by Ms Susan McCoy or Dr Pradeep Agrawal. While we would love to meet with you to discuss professor and class selection after you have decided which classes to take unfortunately we are not able to coordinate your 4 year plan for either your major or minor.

I would suggest you schedule a meeting with either of the above mentioned faculty members as soon as you can. For your convenience I have also copied Dr Agrawal on this email, so its easier for you to contact him in case you do not know his email address. Please let me know should you need any help on selecting professors.  Have a great week!
