THE CASE STUDY
The case study of my project is King Faysal Hospital department of
ophthalmology where I will find all data corresponding to my Topic.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM.
After observation done around many hospitals including referential
ones( CHUK,CHUB) which are expected to give good services to
different patients, The process of appointments with specialist
Doctors is difficult and non comfortable to patients because it take
many trips to hospital. The patient first has to come to the hospital,
enter into appointment office fill the appointment form and is given
an appointment may be in the next week, it’s depends on the number of
patients and the availability of doctors. This situation is not fair
for all because some of patients come from far, if they are given an
appointment in that manner, they will spend a lot of money as well as
time in traveling. Hospitals also, don’t have a computerized system of
patient medical appointment in order that they can easily coordinate
and store all these information for further analysis and reusability
which may cause the loss of information and the use of many employees
in appointment office without achieving the efficiency of this
service. Although the implementation of this project is designed to
send and receive sms messages of appointment, it provides a ground to
base on for further research on mobile health.
