I wanted to let the community know she has passed and was hoping you could forward along this announcement to other members she may have spent quality time with. If I have reached you in error, I’m sorry, could you point me in the right direction? Thank you so much.

She came to America as a German immigrant in 1963 and we are forever grateful for her adventurous spirit for a new beginning. As a single mom she raised two spectacular women and practiced her faith at the New Apostolic Church. Her hard work ethic paid off as she landed a job at Procter & Gamble where she spent 31 successful years. But even after retirement, she never stopped learning. Hildegard was a student at the Adult Enrichment College here in Sarasota and studied interests such as The Flow of The Chakra, My Charismatic Self, Reiki, and learned to read and sing music! She never missed a class. As a creative writer she had a natural talent in composing poetry, song lyrics and even prayers. She always provided words of wisdom and warmed your heart with a peaceful and joyous parting message. If you were lucky, she might have written a poem about you or sung to you on a whim.

Without her, we would not be here in the country she loved, we would not be born into our faith, and we would not know how to make spaetzle. She was one with God and the love she had for her husband, daughters and all her grandchildren was like no other.
