Maybe you're wondering why this composition sounds like it came from
Syria. Well, that's because it's the theme of the phantom ship that
hunts the Elissa off the coast of Africa in Good Hope. The phantom
ship set sail from Algiers and is captained by a man named Mousaud-
hence the name.

The composition is designed to suggest theme music for "Egyptian
Pirates". Listen to it again and think of Barbary Coast buccaneers.

Let me know if I nailed it - or woefully missed the mark.
