I live in Michigan currently. A judgement was filed against me thru the courts from a collection agency. The judge signed the Judgement 3/17/09. How soon should I see a ganishment of either my wages or bank account? Will I be notified that a garnish is going to happen first or will it just happen without my knowledge? Should I take what money I have out of the bank? Should I tell my employer in advance?
