Responsibilities
Ø Handling local purchases independently and assisting Manager- Imports. Ø Looking after the purchases of local raw material, consumables, mechanical items, electrical items, packing items, production spares and all other general items. Ø Vendor Development Ø Extracting quotation from vendors, negotiation with them and getting the quotation approved from top management. Ø Looking close watch on the stock of the consumables for the timely procurement. Ø Booking of Purchase orders in SAP (doing for both Local & Import). Ø Follow up with Vendors for the delivery of materials. Ø Cross checking of POs with invoices. Ø Follow up with vendors in case of shortage for the balance material and replacement in case of rejected material Ø Forwarding bills of vendors to accounts dept after proper verifications. Ø Co-ordinating with Finance Dept and Vendors for the payment issues. Ø Reconciliation of Vendor accounts. Ø Controlling the ST-31 flow. Ø Regular visits to the Market (well versed with Delhi Market).
