Please distribute this wonderful opportunity and mark your calendars!
This workshop is a great opportunity to network with others involved in community garden groups throughout the State of Montana!
PLEASE JOIN US FOR A THREE DAY WORKSHOP WITH
THE AMERICAN COMMUNITY GARDENING ASSOCIATION
AS THEY DELIVER THEIR GROWING COMMUNITIES CURRICULUM IN MONTANA.
The three day workshop focuses on working with community garden leaders and volunteers
Here are a couple comments I received from extension agents who have attended the ACGA Growing Communities workshops with community members:
· “It’s fantastic!” – Yvonne Savio, Common Ground Garden Program Manager, University of California Cooperative Extension, Los Angeles County
· “I took 2 county hort agents and around 20 Master Gardeners and Community gardeners to a training hosted in Atlanta. Each of us was glad we went, appreciated the opportunity to network with other community gardeners in the South East, valued the curriculum as well as the teaching strategies modeled. “ – Lucy Bradley, North Carolina State University Extension
The agenda is finalized and attached; however, we are waiting to hear from one more funding agency as we work to lower registration fees on your behalf.
If you have questions, please call. Contact information below –
Thanks,
Rene Kittle

Kelly, we can definitely carpool over. I will drive and my fuel is paid for. We have not set the registration fee yet but it will be between $105-160. This includes all meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as break snacks during the workshop. Lodging is also included in this fee. The site has two beds per room. If anyone wants a private room there is an extra fee of approximately $30.00 to be paid. This conference is funded by SARE, AERO, MSU Extension, as well as other sponsors and that is how we can keep the registration fee so low! We are very fortunate to have so much support. My vehicle can carry 6 comfortably.
