Compost heap, soil & new contributor

Hi all,

I met Mona's friend Izra this weekend who has offered to build a solid compost heap (so kids jumping on it won't break it etc.). He's going to do up a quote for the materials but estimates around £45. Suzanne, how much do we have left in the bank?

It was also Izra who sourced the topsoil (from a house down the road who were going to bin it) - I believe any bags which are now left can be used on your plots - please be considerate of those with the least soil if you take some.

He's also really keen to get stuck in otherwise and also help develop the rest of the area. He has experience with landscape gardening which is great. I've said he can have half of plot 2 (as Kerry is not responding so must assume she's not got the time to take part right now) and as he's helping with the communal/kids plot at the end take some of that too. Hopefully Izra will be driving the work to make some additional plots and also an "orchard" in the grassed area behind the growing space.

Took Izra down to the builders merchants the other day - he spent 56 (i think) quid of his own cash - whats the quickest way we could get this to him?

Did you/he get receipts? I can get what money is left out of the account in cash.

Hi

sorry for not getting back to you, I've been in Germany for the last
few weeks as my mum has been in hospital here.

I'm back Tuesday and can check the amount we have in the bank then, I
don't have the details of the account with me now It would be quickest
if Rob could take it out in cash presuming there is enough in the
account, I would have thought so but I am not 100% sure. We will of
course need receipts for everything.

Does anyone know when/where the accounts need to go? Do we need to
submit them to our funders?
