Does the job, noisily but quite well.

I bought this leaf blower/vacuum 2 weeks ago and am so pleased that I did. Why didn't I do it 5 years ago? I have a small yard with several huge oaks and maples hanging over it - there are LOT of leaves. The leaves don't spread too far, but scooping up rake-full after rake-full is really hard on my back. This vacuum is so much easier, and I use fewer leaf bags because it mulches the leaves. It is loud and intrusive, so I try to use it in the mid to late afternoon. I have read other reviews for this and similar blowers that complained that the bags tore quickly. I make sure not to over fill and dump leaves fairly often.
I had a B&D blower before but left it behind when I moved across the country (don't know why), and have never had a problem with that one and don't expect I will with this one.

This item is a great Vac Mulcher with five star rating

I chose this item because I needed something to pick up leaves in my yard and dispose them in a garbage can. It reduces a lot of work. It comes in a box with many parts that need to be assembled so bear in mind you need to read the instructions carefully and examine all the parts in the box to see if everything is there. Once you read the instructions, it snaps together nicely. It works as a blower as well, but it is a pretty heavy item to use as a blower. My suggestion is to use one of those light weight blowers for general leaf blowing and this one for a vacuum. I think there is an extension that one can buy to vacuum out rain gutters as well. This is something else that help a lot.

Yard vacuum

Excellent addition to my yard cleanup toolset. Was easy to use and carry around, and mulches the leaves and small sticks into small pieces. Haven't used it as a blower yet, but based on its performance as a vacuum I expect it will be just as efficient.
