I hope that people are becoming more and more willing to express their
opinions about eBooks! I'm Scott Ley, and I really feel that eBooks
are the "wave of the future". Whether it's reading one on your
computer, or on your mobile device, whenever, eBooks are far more easy
and convenient, AND much easier on trees and forests, than the
continuously growing paper media.
We need to turn this around. That is unless of course we want to rely
just on the algae and plants in the oceans and seas for our oxygen!
Trees that supply us with paper for our books, newspapers, magazines
and the tremendous daily additions to places like the Library of
Congress also supply us with a significant part of the air we
breathe! Is it so hard to picture the possible outcomes?
No. Scotty is not a "doom 'n gloom" kind of person. You can post all
you want about the possible negative outcomes. I won't stop you. But
I prefer to hope for the better possibilities. I like to think of a
future where there is little need for paper and paper products. This
is a future where there's plenty of breathable air for all of us AND
our prosperity. Look forward to an abundant future full of digital
products, including Digital Editions of books, magazines, newspapers
and archives -- especially eBooks!
It won't solve ALL problems, but it's a step in the right direction, a
wave of the future.
Ride the Wave!
Thank You Beyond Words,
Scotty
