Barkan Park Cleanup on Saturday April 5

Boy - April 5 is going to be a very busy day.  The Mayor has declared it it to be a city-wide cleanup day (groups are being recruited to tackle dump sites as well as parks etc) - from 9 am to 2 pm.  Subsequently a broad coalition of anti-Trump groups decided to call for a nationwide protest that day.  In Philly it will start at noon at City Hall.  https://www.mobilize.us/handsoff/event/764183/

You might go on the city’s cleanup registration page -  https://www.phila.gov/programs/philly-spring-cleanup/  — and let them know you have a group that will tackle Barkan Park.   I may be there but my first priority is going to be to checkout what is going on at Malcolm X Park and hopefully make it down to the rally.
