Student field trips/Departure update/MSP tour update

Hi all,

 

Few pretty important things:

1. The Airport departure has been scheduled. German students may stay home during the day if they choose, but must be at the school before the pick up time or they run the risk of missing their flight! The bus will pick up at 11:45 at RHS. The bus will then go to Simley for a pick up around 12:10pm. Remember: All Germans must ride the bus!

2. We’ve received an offer from Representative Huot to get a quick peek inside the capitol on Election Day and a quick photo op. We will be moving the morning pick up times up slightly. RHS will be at 7:25 and SHS will be 7:45. We wanted Simley parents to be aware so they could plan ahead. No change to the return times.

3.  We were able to get all American students who signed up for a field trip on one! Please let both of us know ASAP if you are declining this field trip for any reason. See your teacher for the permission slips and waivers.

 

U of M:

*permission slip required, plus good walking shoes and money for lunch/bag lunch

Kirsten, Frank, Micah, Ben, Austin, Adam, and Annelise

 

MSP tour:

*permission slip required, plus money for lunch at Cosettas

Bai Li, Sophia, Lindsay, Samantha

 

Segway:

*Payment of $80 due before/at the Welcome Dinner, along with the additional waiver and permission slip; plus good footwear and money for lunch at Tuggs.
