Several important things - read ASAP

Hi all,
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Now that we are in December, I just wanted to send out a quick email to touch base on a few important things. It’s a long one, but very important, so please read it carefully.
- The
December payment of $200 is due by/on Wednesday, December 18th. This payment should be done via PayPal (transfer to a friend:
rhsgerma...@gmail.com) or a check given to your teacher (RHS German Exchange).
- Passports: If you haven’t started the passport process, please do so immediately. We will need that information
in February or so.
- Next parent meeting: There will be a
parent meeting in February. Date/Time/Location TBD. Expect one more parent meeting after that, usually in April.
- We’ve selected the first student meeting date. The
first meeting/orientation session will be held on Wednesday, January 29th at Rosemount HS in the German room (N12 – there will be signs to help you). Simley students will be excused at 3pm and the meeting will start promptly at 3:30pm. Expect
all orientation sessions to last 1.5 hours, but we always hope not to go that long. Bring your calendar, folder or notebook, writing utensil, and payment to each meeting.
It is essential that all students be at all student meetings, therefore this, and all other student orientation sessions, are mandatory. If a student misses a meeting, or even shows up late, it is grounds for removal from the program. Because of the importance of this, this meeting date will become set in stone this Friday. If your student (no parents attend this meeting) has a conflict that you are aware of at this time, you must let us know by Thursday evening. Remember, work, practices, rehearsals, etc, are not reasons to miss these meetings. Things like a choir concert, sections game, or play performance, however, are. The dates for the remaining student meetings will be decided upon at the January meeting, so it is essential that your student is aware of any family trips, etc, when they come to that meeting.

Start at 3:30pm or earlier if everyone arrives early
SHS students school authorized absence at 3pm
Estimated end time: 5:00pm
Bring: Calendars (for setting all meeting dates), folder, notebook, pencil or pen, $200 January payment
